Academic Philosophy
Integrating theoretical research with curatorial practice, this work employs New Materialism theory, material perspectives, and object-oriented ontology to establish two academic platforms:

1."Material Thinking" International Contemporary Material Art Biennale (bringing in global perspectives)

2."Material Thinking" International Exchange Exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Material Art (going global).
These initiatives aim to lead the development of international contemporary material art, providing novel theories, practices, and visions for global contemporary art.

Leveraging Tsinghua’s interdisciplinary strengths in "art-science integration," the research explores distinctive pathways for merging art and science through exhibition curation, historical/theoretical studies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
