On Friday, June 26, 2026, the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, will hold its 2026 Graduation Ceremony at the New Tsinghua Auditorium, marking the culmination of the academic journeys of a new generation of designers and artists who have honed their craft under the enduring ethos: “Art for Life, Design for People.”

Seventy years after the founding of the Academy, this spirit continues to inspire graduates to embrace creativity as a force for societal good. As they step beyond the gates of Tsinghua Garden, they carry forward a legacy rooted in everyday life, addressing the fundamental human needs of clothing, food, shelter, and mobility with artistic vision and design acumen.

Attire Guidelines

·Graduates: Academic regalia is required.
• Male students: White or light-colored shirt, tie, dark trousers, and dark formal shoes.
• Female students: White or light-colored shirt, optional tie or bow tie, dark trousers or a dark knee-length skirt, and dark formal shoes.

·Faculty: Faculty academic regalia is required, worn with a white or light-colored shirt, dark trousers or a dark knee-length skirt, and dark formal shoes.
