Comparative Study of Chinese and Western Painting and Artistic Spirit of Life
Academic Philosophy
1.Only through comparative research can we truly understand the value and strengths of our traditional culture, and effectively preserve, utilize, and promote these cultural values and characteristics. Contemporary Chinese culture requires uniqueness within commonality and complementary strengths at the peak of convergence.
2.Art stems from the profound unification of external objectivity and internal subjectivity—life’s experience of its own spirit is the source of artistic creation.
