This is not only an innovative exploration of deeply integrating education with public cultural spaces but also establishes a high-quality platform for students to voice their perspectives to society. Through this exhibition, teaching outcomes are fully tested, and the unique charm of art continues to manifest in the development of aesthetic education, powerfully conveying AADTHU’s educational philosophy and contemporary spirit. Exhibition Highlights at Tsinghua University Art Museum

This exhibition creatively brings together all graduate works in a national-level museum, fully open to the public, marking a significant breakthrough in the publicization of art education. It places the depth and breadth of academic exploration in the public eye, allowing art to truly enter daily life and aesthetic education to nourish hearts. As an art classroom fulfilling the mission of public aesthetic education, the exhibition not only showcases the graduates’ innovative achievements but also provides high-quality aesthetic education resources to the public, reflecting Tsinghua University’s commitment to serving society.

The exhibition features the latest creations from over 170 graduate students from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, comprehensively presenting the abundant achievements under the context of “art-science integration.” From object design to digital art, from space creation to visual narrative, each piece embodies the young artists’ keen observation of social issues, delicate capture of life’s warmth, and beautiful vision for the future.

They ground their work in reality and focus on social issues. Addressing aging society needs with elderly-friendly design and youth mental health with interactive installations, these works demonstrate the humanistic care of AADTHU students, who pursue both the height of art and the warmth of reality.

They build bridges between art and technology, tradition and modernity. The exhibited works display a distinct contemporariness and experimental spirit, blending material exploration, conceptual expression, and design aesthetics. Traditional cultural elements are reborn through digital deconstruction; Dunhuang patterns and intangible cultural heritage crafts are deeply integrated with modern design language; and 3D modeling languages engage in profound dialogue between the physical and the perceived. Furthermore, the exhibition also focuses on future space scenarios, using software and hardware innovation as a medium to showcase the charm of art colliding with science.

Inheriting cultural roots, reconstructing cultural genes with a contemporary perspective, vitalizing traditional classics with digital technology, and innovatively interpreting folk imageries are major features of this exhibition. AADTHU students convey Chinese voices and express cultural confidence through images, spaces, and narratives, demonstrating not only the young creators’ observational and expressive abilities but also their understanding of their specializations and their response to contemporary life. Notably, the exhibition also includes a special interactive zone, where visitors can personally experience the innovative charm of contemporary art and technology integration.

We welcome everyone to visit the exhibition halls and experience the thoughts and imagination of this era alongside AADTHU students.

This exhibition will run until June 1st.
