The Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University and NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti 2025 Graduation Fashion Show will be held on May 20, 2025, at 19:00 in the Central Hall of 751D·PARK, Beijing.

This fashion extravaganza, themed “Overlap,” is jointly organized by Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, and the China Fashion Designers Association, with the Department of Textile and Fashion Design of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University serving as the organizer. NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti is a renowned Italian art academy, ranked among the top 100 globally in the field of art and design according to the 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subject.

The 2025 graduation fashion design works showcase three defining characteristics: AI deeply empowers the entire design process, enabling algorithm-driven form generation; traditional cultural elements are revitalized through digital deconstruction, with Dunhuang patterns, intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship, and modern design language seamlessly integrated; bio-based materials and smart wearable technologies push the boundaries of application, reflecting the new generation of designers’ multifaceted considerations of technological ethics, sustainable development, and humanistic care.

These works break the boundaries between the virtual and the real, the traditional and the future, the local and the global, achieving a multidimensional fusion and collision. They provide valuable practical examples for constructing a new design ecology within a global perspective.
