Qin Chuan
Party Committee Secretary, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University.
Former Executive Deputy Director of Tsinghua University’s Publicity Department, Director of the News Center, and University Spokesperson. Selected for the Ministry of Education’s inaugural cohort of Outstanding Young Ideological and Political Education Professionals. Concurrently serves as Director of Tsinghua University’s Olympic Art Research Center.
Long-term instructor of Tsinghua’s core cultural literacy courses, including Media Literacy: Integrated Knowledge and Practice and Introduction to Film and Television Art with Case Studies. Recipient of Tsinghua University’s Special Award for Teaching Excellence.
Led over 10 national and ministerial research projects, including key initiatives under the National Soft Science Program, the Ministry of Education, and the Central Propaganda Department’s Marxism Research and Development Project. Published four monographs, including Media Literacy and Ethical Innovation in Media Education, and authored more than 30 academic papers.
Honored with awards such as China’s First National First-Class Undergraduate Online Course, Outstanding Achievement in Beijing Collegiate Ideological Education, “Best Drama Award” at the China Campus Theater Festival, and “Outstanding Party Affairs Worker” by Beijing Higher Education Institutions.


Pan Qingzhong
Executive Dean and Professor, Tsinghua University Schwarzman College; Vice President, China Public Relations Association; Concurrently Distinguished Professor at Beijing Normal University and Deputy Director of its Belt and Road Initiative Research Institute.
Pan Qingzhong enrolled in Tsinghua University’s Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in 1980, earning a Bachelor of Engineering. He later pursued a Master’s in Economics and a Ph.D. in International Trade and Finance at Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management (1985–1990), followed by a Master of Science from Stanford University’s School of Engineering (1993).
From 1994 to 2004, he held roles as engineer, R&D manager, vice president, CEO, and chairman at four companies. From 2004 to 2014, he served as Director of Cooperative Development at Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management, overseeing domestic and international partnerships and the Tsinghua Corporate Governance Research Center. His research spans corporate development, governance, Chinese economic history, and the Belt and Road Initiative. He has taught courses in management economics, corporate governance, and comparative business history in both Chinese and English.
Since 2013, as Executive Dean of Schwarzman College, he has led its operational management. Recipient of Tsinghua’s “Mentor of the Year Award” (17th edition) and the Tsinghua Excellence in Teaching Award.


Xu Sitao
Chief Economist, Deloitte China, overseeing macroeconomic and industry research. Prior to joining Deloitte in 2014, he served as China Chief Representative for The Economist Group and Head of China Forecasting at the Economist Intelligence Unit (2004–2014).
His career includes roles as:
·Emerging Asia Economist at MMS International (Standard & Poor’s affiliate), covering South Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand (1995–1996, based in Singapore).
·Northeast Asia Economist at Standard Chartered Bank (1996–2000, Hong Kong).
·Chief Asia Economist at Société Générale (2000–2002).
·Chief Economist at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) (2003–2004).
Xu is a designated speaker for the CFA Institute, a columnist for YaleGlobal Online, The Wall Street Journal Asia, and Financial Times, and a frequent commentator on China’s economy for CNBC, Bloomberg, and CCTV. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Peking University, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut, and an M.S. in Finance from Boston College. He was a visiting scholar at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution (2012).
