He is mainly engaged in researching the history of Chinese arts and crafts, aiming to explore and explain various aspects of them by thoroughly reviewing all available materials. His research mainly focuses on the historical value and cultural meaning of classic arts and crafts. He also looks at the social contexts and historical backgrounds that shape the development of arts and crafts. Additionally, he explores the common issues across different fields of arts and crafts and their interdisciplinary connections. He aims to interpret the development and evolution of arts and crafts within a broader historical context, hoping to contribute to current cultural development.
Academic Achievements
He has dedicated much of his research to the study of Ming Dynasty arts and crafts, with a particular emphasis on organizing and researching historical materials related to this period. He has published numerous academic articles and has been involved in two provincial and ministerial-level projects, as well as three other research projects.
