Academic Philosophy
Artistic evolution progresses through the dual forces of inheritance and innovation, with creativity remaining its core essence. Material language in painting profoundly enriches the spiritual depth and expressive power of artworks. Modern Chinese art should root itself in the ontology of Chinese culture, seamlessly integrating materiality with artistic vision to innovate traditional formal vocabularies. This synthesis achieves harmony between thematic expression, spiritual resonance, and visual form.

Academic Achievements

·2021: Led the creation of the large-scale oil painting Jiao Yulu for the "Art Creation Project Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Communist Party of China" (jointly organized by the Central Propaganda Department, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Finance, and China Federation of Literary and Art Circles). Simultaneously, created the oil painting Peaceful Liberation of Tibet for the "Ode to the Red Boat: Centennial Art Excellence Project" (co-organized by China Artists Association and Jiaxing Municipal Party Committee).

·2018: Directed the National Arts Fund project "Preparatory Workshop for the 13th National Art Exhibition & 70th Anniversary of PRC Founding Comprehensive Material Painting Exhibition," completed in April 2019.

·2018: Created the oil painting Marx Writing for the New York Daily Tribune for "The Power of Truth: Bicentennial of Marx’s Birth Thematic Project" (exhibited and collected by the National Museum of China).

·2018: Painted Song Dynasty Construction of Baoguo Temple for the "Ningbo Major Historical Themes Art Project" (exhibited at the National Art Museum of China).

·2017: Co-created Master Craftsmen (collected by the National Museum of China) for the "Celebrating the 19th CPC National Congress Art Exhibition."

·2016: Co-created Victory at Loushan Pass (collected by the National Museum of China) for the "80th Anniversary of the Long March Victory Thematic Project."

1.Participated in the design of the Ode to Chinese Millennia relief mural at China Millennium Monument, overseeing the central pillar murals Dragon-Phoenix Harmony and Radiance of Sun and Moon.

2.Designed the mural Spring in Jiangnan for China Construction Bank Headquarters.

3.Created the copper relief Dragon-Phoenix Harmony for the PLA Air Force Logistics Academy.

4.Proposed granite relief designs for Peking University Centennial Hall.

5.Designed the copper relief Light of Law for Dongcheng District People’s Court.

6.Sculpted Dedication for the Development Research Center of the State Council.

7.Created the stainless steel sculpture Soaring for the Ministry of Electronics Industry.

8.Designed the copper relief Light of Hydraulics for the Ministry of Water Resources.

9.Crafted the copper relief Golden Era for Beijing Iron Tower Theater.

10.Wove the tapestry mural Soul of China for Shijiazhuang Century Hotel.

11.Painted the acrylic mural Treasures of the Silk Road for Dunhuang Villa.

12.Designed the copper relief Journey of Beauty and tapestry Spring Tide for Taiyuan Yuyuan Hotel.

Teaching
