Educational Philosophy
People-oriented, teaching and educating, teaching according to students’ abilities. Help and inspire every student to establish an independent personality, and receive balanced training from perceptual to rational thinking abilities, stimulating students’ personal potential. Capable of deep exploration of nature and society. Understand the essence of art development from the perspective of art history. Cultivate innovative talents with comprehensive abilities from three aspects: art concepts, art language, and contemporaneity. Higher education should cultivate high-end talents with certain professional skills, exploratory spirit, and practical ability. The academy is also a platform for exploring the essence of the world and the meaning of life.
Teaching Methods and Means
Teaching Methods: Teach according to students’ abilities, adopt heuristic teaching, focus on cultivating students’ individuality, stimulate students’ potential and enthusiasm for learning, and encourage students to explore unknown areas. Combine teaching PPT to analyze and interpret relevant top works, deeply analyze the creative concepts of contemporary art, and encourage students to interpret in their own ways. Combine assigned and free topics in practical courses according to different progress, focus classroom discussions on students’ mutual analysis and interpretation, and allow students to discover their uniqueness from different perspectives and determine their development direction.
