Research Focus
Inheritance and Innovation of Chinese Furniture Design
·Explores the integration of Eastern aesthetics and modern design practices, emphasizing the symbiotic relationship between cultural heritage and innovation.
·Investigates the "homology" of traditional wooden structures in architecture, interiors, and furniture, tracing their evolution from ancient architectural joinery to fine furniture craftsmanship.
·Advances digital applications in furniture preservation, restoration, and contemporary design, with recent focus on innovating围棋 (Go) culture-inspired products and spatial design.
