Academic Claims
In contemporary society, the integration of art and design has grown increasingly close, with a rise in interdisciplinary practices. This trend calls for more diverse and multidimensional research and creation by artists and designers. At the same time, it is essential to root such practices in China’s local context and respond to the evolving realities of society, exploring the possibilities of diverse, integrated, and innovative expressions in art and design through materials, space, new media, conceptual thinking, and other approaches.
