Academic Philosophy

1.Design Process and Methodology

oUnderstanding: Form → Structure → Essence

oDesign: Essence (Text) → Structure → Form

oDesign begins with the essence (text), where "text" represents an alternative form of existence that bears responsibility for the tangible reality.

2.International Fashion System
The hierarchical structure of the international fashion system allows upstream players to constrain downstream design innovation, not through creativity itself but through discursive dominance. This system propagates Euro-American culture, fostering cultural monopoly and colonization worldwide, creating a "secondhand reality" of Western cultural hegemony. Fundamentally, the international fashion system operates as an economic mechanism for resource and capital extraction by dominant nations.
