Recently, the 2025 Asian Vanguard Art and Design Award (AVADA) winners were announced. Student works from Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University (AADTHU) stood out among over 4,000 entries from dozens of countries and regions worldwide, winning multiple awards with their outstanding design innovation concepts.
Since its launch, this year’s awards attracted active participation from designers, university faculty and students, and art practitioners from China, South Korea, Spain, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and other countries and regions. The submitted works covered traditional painting, crafts and fine arts, visual communication, product design, environmental art, digital media, fashion design, and cutting-edge fields such as AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content), fully demonstrating the diversity and internationalization of Asian youth design talent.
In this year’s selection, faculty and students from Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University achieved the following outstanding results:
