On April 29, 2016, Prof. Choi Sooshin, Provost & Vice President of College for Creative Studies (CCS) visited the Academy. Dean LU Xiaobo, Director of Industrial Design Department Dr. ZHAO Chao met with the guest.

Prof. Choi has visited the Academy last September. He intended to find opportunities for cooperation between the institutions during this visit. He hoped to start the cooperation from graduate student exchanges and introduced Innovation Center of CCS and the preparation for annual meeting of IDSA. Dean LU thanked Prof. Cui for his work to promote bilateral cooperation and looked forward to cooperation between the two institutions, which could provide the faculty and students more opportunities to do research, international exchanges, teaching and learning. He suggested cooperating based on projects and combined research, teaching and innovation, such as joint research programs, which are deeper and more flexible. Prof. Choi showed great interest and would further discuss it with Director ZHAO Chao.
