Session Ⅱ of 2016 Postgraduate Works Exhibition Opened

On the afternoon of May 21, 2016, the second session of 2016 Postgraduate Works Exhibition of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, 2016 Postgraduate Works Exhibition of Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University was opened in the Hall of B Area in the Academy. A total of 140 people, including Dean of Academy of Arts & Design Prof. LU Xiaobo, director of committee of academy Mr. LI Gongqiang, deputy dean Prof. ZHANG Gan, dean assistant Prof. YANG Dongjiang, dean assistant Prof. FANG Xiaofeng, deputy dean of Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University Prof. WANG Xiaohao and students, presented at the opening ceremony. Prof. ZHANG Gan and Prof. WANG Xiaohao extended their congratulations on the successful opening of the exhibition. Prof. MA Quan and Ms. YAO Lu gave speeches on behalf of tutors and graduates. Deputy director of academic affairs office Mrs LI Wen hosted the opening, and Prof LU Xiaobo announced the opening of the exhibition.

The exhibition was held in Visual Art Center and L corridor in B Area of the Academy. More than 300 pieces of works from 83 graduates from Department of Textile & Fashion Design, Department of Visual Communication Design, Department of Environmental Art Design, Department of Industrial Design and Department of Information Art & Design were displayed in Visual Art Center. In the L corridor area, 150 pieces of graduate works from 21 masters of fine arts were displayed including Industrial Design and Visual Communication Design.

The works exhibited reflects rigorous academic spirit, profound humanistic feelings, solid design skills and good practical capabilities. Some works combining innovation and entrepreneurial practice, fully reflects the fruitful results of research and practice. This exhibition will last until May 28.
