On Jul. 13th, 2016, Dean of Leica Akademie Mr. Udo Zell, Art Director of Leica Galary Ms. Karin Rehn-kaufmann, Director of Bell Art and fellows visited the Academy. Dean LU Xiaobo, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange Dr. ZANG Yingchun, Director of Department of Information Art Design Prof. XU Yingqing, Prof. FENG Jianguo and other faculties met with the guests.

Dean LU Xiaobo first expressed great welcome to guests from Leica Akademie , Leica Galary and Bell Art. After that he introduced the history of the Academy and Department of Information Art Design. Dean of Leica Akademie Mr. Udo Zell talked about the global development of Leica Akademie, and proposed some cooperation fields. In the meeting, both parties discussed about possible cooperation, such like photographic exhibition of German Artists, photography courses, academic research of Leica Camera and culture of photography.

After the meeting, the guests visited the Academy and also Tsinghua University Art Museum.
