During Nov.24 to Nov.25, 2016- Leaded by Ryoji Goto, Section chief of Citizens and Cultural Affairs Division, Kagoshima prefecture delegation consisting of three government officials, one high school teacher and six students who have won art rewards visited the Academy. Dean LU Xiaobo and Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange Dr. ZANG Yingchun met with the guests on the morning of Nov. 24th; and Mr. LIU Runfu faculty of Department of Ceramic Design is the translator. During the meeting, they reviewed the collaborative programs and spoke highly of these programs in promotion of bilateral cultural exchanges. Both sides were looking forward to carrying on more activities and cooperation in culture and research filed.

After the meeting, the delegation visited Clay Sculpture Lab, Metal Art Studio, Ceramic Art & Design Lab, Tapestry Art Lab, Engraving Art Studio, Chinese Painting Studio and Oil Painting Studio.

In the afternoon, upon request of the delegation, Deputy Director of Department of Sculpture CHEN Hui gave a demonstrate lesson about a brief introduction to the history of sculpture art and guided the students to carry out the clay sculpture. During the class, CHEN Hui gave comments and suggestions about art works that Kagoshima students brought. 

On the morning of 25th, freshmen from Department of Ceramic Design exchanged views and ideas with Kagoshima students, Dr. YIN Hang from Department of Ceramic Design hosted the activity. Students presented their artworks respectively and shared their school life.
