On Mar. 20th, 2017, Vice Chancellor Prof. Iain Martin, Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean of Faculty of Arts, Law & Social Sciences School Prof. Martin Hewitt, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences Dr. Andy Salmon, all from Anglia Ruskin University visited the Academy. Deputy Dean of the Academy Prof. MA Sai, Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange Dr. ZANG Yingchun met with the guests.

Prof. MA Sai introduced basic information of the Academy, especially new initiatives on design innovation, cooperation with enterprises, research transformation, and high-end training. Dr. ZANG Yingchun said it was a great pleasure to look back on the history of communication between the two institutes in the past seven years, “Dean Martin and Deputy Dean Andy are old friends and also good friends of our Academy.” Both parties are looking forward to deepening cooperation in art & science area through international high level research projects based on the inter-disciplinary features of two institutes and designed for the whole industrial chain, for social development.

After the meeting, the delegation had a tour of several labs in the Academy.
