On 24th March 2017, former Managing Director of the Art and Exhibition Centre of the Federal Republic of Germany, famous German contemporary art historian, curator Mr. Wenzel Jacob, and Chairman of Johann Adam Schall von Bell Science and Art Foundation, founder of Bell Art Center of German, Earl of Wilderich Reichsgraf von Schall and fellows visited the Academy. Dean professor LU Xiaobo, deputy director of painting department associate professor ZHOU Aimin, director of dean office Ms. REN Qian met with the guests.

Prof. LU was very glad to meet the Earl of Wilderich Reichsgraf von Schall again, and welcomed Mr. Wenzel Jacob’s visit. He was looking forward the grand opening of “From Dithyrambe to Arcadia Exhibition of Markus Lupertz” which was curated by Mr. Wenzel Jacob.

In the meeting, the two parties discussed deeply about contemporary Germanart and curation, besides they agreed on promoting more German art exhibition and more visit of famous German Artists or educators to the Academy.
