June 23rd, 2017, President of Venice International University Ambassador Umberto Vattani visited the Academy. Professor LU Xiaobo, Dean of the Academy, and Dr. ZANG Yingchun, Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange met with the guests.

Dean LU Xiaobo expressed his warm welcome to Ambassador Umberto Vattani. They had a talk about the exhibition under preparation by Ambassador Umberto Vattani about the dialogue between Italian and Chinese culture and history. They also shared opinions in the similarities and differences between the two countries' artistic expressions in painting and inscriptions. Ambassador Umberto Vattani hopes to invite one or two professors in the Academy to join the Academic Council of the exhibition.
