On the morning of October 11th, 2017. Ms. Sue Rowley, chief academic officer of the Academy of Art University, visited Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. This has been the second in-depth conversation since March, when Ms. Sue Rowley visited the Academy for the first time. Prof. LU Xiaobo, Dean of the Academy, Dr. ZANG Yingchun, Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange met with the guests.

Prof. LU Xiaobo expressed the warm welcome to Ms. Sue Rowley’s second visit. Ms. Sue Rowley first said that the visit in March was very impressive and found that the two academies had a lot of similar discipline and majors. She brought students’ portfolios and detailed academy introduction with her this time, hoping that two academies could carry out substantive cooperation based on mutual understanding. Prof. LU Xiaobo highly appraised the works of the students of the Academy of Art University and discussed the areas of cooperation that could be carried out in the future. Both of two academies wanted to make mutual visits as a base for understanding, organize cooperation workshops and academic conferences, and then carry out student exchange projects, gradually deepen the cooperation.
