On the afternoon of May 16th, 2018, opening ceremony of the 2018 Postgraduate Work Exhibitions of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University and Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, were jointly held in Tsinghua University Art Museum. Dean of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University Prof. LU Xiaobo, Deputy Dean Prof. MA Sai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Prof. WU Qiong, Deputy Dean of Graduate School, Tsinghua University Prof. ZHANG Wei, Deputy Dean of the Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University Prof. WANG Xiaohao, Standing Deputy Executive Director of Tsinghua University Art Museum Prof. DU Pengfei, Deputy Curator of Tsinghua University Art Museum, assistant dean of Academy of Arts and Design, as well as directors of departments and supervisors, graduate students, a total of more than 300 guests attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Prof. ZENG Chenggang, Deputy Dean of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University.
At the opening ceremony, Prof. LU Xiaobo, Prof. ZHANG Wei, Prof. WANG Xiaohao and representatives of the tutors, Prof. WEN Zhongyan, Vice Director of the Painting Department of the Academy and graduate student Ms. WANG Mengyao from Environmental Art Design Department addressed speeches.

The exhibition is co-hosted by the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University and Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, operated by Teaching Affairs Office and Graduate Work Group, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. The Avenues are Hall NO. 4, NO.5 and NO.6, Tsinghua University Art Museum, visual art center and multi-function hall of the Academy. A total of nearly 220 master graduates (including 28 graduates from Shenzhen Graduate School) participated in the exhibition and exhibited about 900 pieces (sets) of work. The exhibition is the presentation and report of the quality and characteristics of the training of graduate students in the disciplines of art and design of the Academy. It shows the students' thinking on the frontier of the subject and the attention to the people's livelihood, and embodies their humanistic feelings and sense of responsibility.
The exhibition will last until June 8th. All warmly welcomed to visit.
