“The Light of Chaos: Art Exhibition of Liu Jude” and “Seeking Back to Nature: Art Exhibition of Zhang Shuheng” were unveiled at Shandong Art Gallery in the afternoon of September 1, 2018. Liu Jude and Zhang Shuheng are a couple dedicated to artistic exploration. They both teach at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University.

The exhibitions featured over 200 artworks ranging from oil paintings, traditional Chinese paintings, and watercolor paintings to sculptures, which reveal their aspiration of returning to the basics and simplicity, their quest for ultimate beauty and eternity, as well as their pursuit of self-transcendence.
