
From 20-25 September 2018, teachers and students from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, were invited to participate in the International Symposium of the Venice Biennale in Italy. This seminar, a special for higher education, was themed in Past Present and Future of Public Space: Knowledge sharing toward implementation of the New Urban Agenda. Fu Zhiyong, Associate Professor from the Department of Information Art & Design of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, delivered a speech entitled Image recognition technology to visualize a local neighborhood public space at the International Symposium. Zhao Zhe and Zhu Jiahui, graduate students from the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, delivered reports about their works during the workshop. More than 100 teachers, experts and students from European, American and Asian countries attended the seminar in the conference space of the Arsenale in Venice.
