On Aug. 20th, 2015, Director of International Cooperation Office, Tourism Exchange Bureau of Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, Moriwaki Yuki and fellows visited the Academy. Deputy Dean Prof. ZHANG Gan and Director of the office of International Cooperation, Exchange Dr. ZANG Yingchun, Director of Research Affairs Office Associate Prof. DONG Suxue, Director of Teaching Affairs Office Dr. YUAN Bo met with the guest and expressed warm welcome.

During the meeting, the two sides overviewed the visit of artists from Kagoshima Prefecture in 2014 and both agreed that this communication has made great contribution to the understanding of the two countries' art and culture. Director Moriwaki Yuki expressed her sincere gratitude of the hospitality from the Academy, and warmly invited the faculty and students from the Academy to visit Kagoshima Prefecture in November 2015.

Deputy Dean Prof. ZHANG Gan appreciated the elaboration of the itinerary, and expected the upcoming visit could give the faculty and students a better understanding of Arts in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.

The exchange programme is based on the MOU between Tsinghua University and Kagoshima Prefecture, which was signed in 2013 and started in 2014.
