On Sept. 23rd, 2015, Head of the Design Department, Italy Politecnico di Milano Prof. Silvia Piardi visited the Academy. Dean Prof. LU Xiaobo, Deputy Dean Prof. ZHANG Gan, Director of the office of International Cooperation and Exchange Dr. ZANG Yingchun and others met with the guest.

Prof. Silvia Piardi was invited to give a lecture in Department of Environmental Design. She said since 2011, the Double Degree Programme in Interior Design had cultivated many accomplished students. The Politecnico di Milano expected deeper and wider collaboration.

Prof. LU Xiaobo gave a warm welcome to Prof. Silvia Piardi. He said this programme has played an active role in the internationalized discipline construction of the Academy. The Academy also had a strong will to enlarge the cooperation of the Double Degree Programme to benefit more students from other departments.
