Academic Philosophy
Under the impact of concepts such as the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, and autonomous driving, mobility has become a core link in social life. The relationship between people, transportation, and lifestyle has fundamentally changed, giving rise to new mobility lifestyles and socio-economic models. In the context of pervasive digitalization, it is essential to strip away superficial factors and focus more on users’ emotional core needs and mental models, as well as the resulting user behaviors and the underlying behavioral patterns.
Based on user interface design, within the theoretical framework of interaction design, Professor Zhang explores the research field of interaction semantics guided by user behavior models. She emphasizes the integration of virtual interfaces and physical products, as well as the balance and fusion between functionality and aesthetic paradigms in the interaction design process.
Academic Achievements
In recent years, Professor Zhang has demonstrated outstanding academic influence, publishing 35 papers and works in core journals, professional journals, and international conferences, including Art & Design, Science and Technology Review, and Mechanical Design. She has authored 5 monographs and textbooks, participated in 6 solo exhibitions and 5 group exhibitions. As a project leader, she has completed one project under the National Science and Technology Support Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology and is currently leading another project under the National Key R&D Program.
