Academic Philosophy
Urban landscape art design lies at the intersection of design art and architectural engineering, offering valuable insights for contemporary urban construction and development in China.
China is undergoing the largest urbanization process in its history. The integration of art and design will undoubtedly elevate the cultural quality of cities. Traditional urban design prioritizes planning, architecture, and engineering. However, in the face of modern ecological and environmental challenges, sustainable development has become a fundamental theory for urban decision-making. The environment-centered design philosophy in art and design has become an indispensable component of harmonious urban development in the 21st century. Urban landscape art design has emerged as a comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and complex research field with significant challenges.
