“Girls’ Dorm Daily” Season 1, Original Animation Created by Alumni of the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, Achieved 150 Million Video Views

On February 26, 2017, the 2D animation “Girls’ Dorm Daily” created by YuDuBai, an animation start-up founded by alumni of the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, concluded its first Season (12 episodes) with 150 million views on major video platforms.

YuDuBai represents youth and hope. The two of its three founders, Wang Bin and Zhou Bin, are 2009 and 2010 graduates of Tsinghua University respectively. Since it was founded in 2014, the company has grown from a small studio with only three founders to an outstanding start-up of up to 50 people with its core members all from Tsinghua University. Now it focuses on creating original 2D animation while developing animation derivatives gallery and incubating multiple original animations.

“Girls’ Dorm Daily” takes place in a unique college dorm and revolves around four girls from different family backgrounds and with different understandings and pursuits of college life. It is a story full of joy and youth.
