On 31 March, 2017, the 7th “Blast” – “Prism” Outstanding Student Art Exhibition was open, featuring more than 80 pieces of outstanding works by undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students from the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University.
A total of 19 artworks were awarded the Jury Prize, the Special Nomination Prize, and the “Rainbow” Prize after careful review and appraisal by the jurors
The exhibition entitled “Prism” put forward the topic on how to deal with real-life “stimulation” in different forms during artistic creation, based on the three important themes of “interdisciplinary”, “experimentalism” and “self-exploration of language”. It sought to stimulate students’ interest in exploring and pondering over this issue, and to make various attempts to either solve or coexist with the issue.
