Academic Standpoints

We can never simply take the rules in the past to determine assessment standards and creation concepts of contemporary ink art. The research on specific art languages and material characteristics has become an important research subject of modern ink art, as the conflicts in form and concept between today’s Chinese culture and other cultures present diversified cultures with different focuses. Faced with the comments of “neither Chinese nor Western, specious, xenocentric, diffident, oblivious of history, and practicalist”, we should understand and perceive contemporary ink art from inheritance and creation aspects with a higher aesthetic sense of national culture and character cultivation.

Further research on the relationship with natural specific images from the abstract and reasonable aspect based on modeling elements; address the relationship between form and people.
