Academic standpoint:

The core of materials and language during sculpture creation lies in philosophical thinking.

Researches over traditional art are interconnected with those over contemporary art.

Contemporary artists should be visual art researchers who are capable of creation and practice.

We need to make creative re-adjustment to lead contemporary sculptures into our society.

“Experimental art” is a breakthrough of artistic notions and conventional mindset under a new value system. It goes beyond the exploration of expressive forms and artistic language and expression. With different planning motives, many experimental art works inject new value and inspiration to familiar things. “Experimental art” in experimental art teaching is experimental, because it aims at the creation motive, mindset, perspective, working process, and expressional method during traditional art creation. It is not a closed practice system. The mindset of experimental art can blend into any established method of traditional art creation for integration, connection, and transformation.
