Chinese Ink Figure Painting and Chinese Brush and Ink Painting Innovation Research
ACADEMIC PROPOSITION:
Chinese painting requires practice with traditional brush and ink techniques: the first step is to reorganize and clarify the language of brush and ink, and absorb good parts of Western Art and Chinese Folk Art. In order to combine it with the concept of modern Oriental culture, we have to use our own expression language to focus on contemporary people and their living conditions. Then, we should create with free mind and construct the innovation system of Chinese Figure Painting in modern context.
