Academic Proposition:

Zhou Yue explores and studies expression pattern and presentation means of graphic language by focusing on basic research of graphic language. The research content is of great significance to the basic teaching and frontier exploration of design. Specific contents include visual perception rules, the expression of graphic symbols, graphic and spatial design, traditional graphic and contemporary design.


Academic Achievements:

In 2004-2005, Zhou Yue was transferred to the Office of Visual Images under the BOCOG Cultural Activities Department, where he was responsible for the design of core graphics, icons and so on for the Beijing Olympics.

He has published the textbook Graphic Design, given academic lectures in higher education institutions in Shenzhen, Nanjing, Tibet and other places.

His works of posters, logos and other symbols have been exhibited at the International Exhibition of Science and Art, the National Art Exhibition, Chinese Graphic Design Competition, the international poster exhibition and many other exhibitions. He has participated in the China Millennium Monument, Police Museum, the 50th anniversary and the 60th anniversary of the design work for the People’s Republic of China and other major projects.
